Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Switcha's statement on modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, servitude, and exploitation risks.

Introduction

This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement is made by Switcha Limited, trading as Switcha.com.

Switcha Limited is committed to conducting business ethically, transparently and responsibly. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, servitude and exploitation in any form.

We expect the same standards from our employees, suppliers, introducers, partners, service providers and any other third parties with whom we work.

Our Business

Switcha Limited operates the website www.switcha.com and provides services as a credit broker. Switcha Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under reference number 828963.

Switcha Limited is a credit broker and not a lender. Our business involves introducing customers to selected finance providers, brokers and other relevant service providers who may be able to assist with finance or related products.

Our operations are primarily office-based and digital in nature. As a financial services intermediary, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct business operations to be low. However, we recognise that modern slavery risks can exist in any supply chain and we remain committed to identifying, managing and reducing those risks where possible.

Our Supply Chains

Our suppliers and business partners may include, but are not limited to:

  • technology and software providers;
  • marketing and advertising providers;
  • data, analytics and website service providers;
  • professional advisers;
  • finance providers;
  • broker and introducer partners;
  • outsourced operational or administrative support providers.

We expect all suppliers and partners to comply with applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to employment practices, human rights, anti-slavery and anti-trafficking.

Our Policies and Approach

Switcha Limited supports ethical business conduct and the fair treatment of people. Our approach includes:

  • acting with integrity in all business relationships;
  • working only with reputable suppliers and partners;
  • maintaining appropriate oversight of third-party relationships;
  • complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations;
  • promoting fair customer outcomes and responsible conduct;
  • taking appropriate action where concerns are identified.

We do not knowingly work with any organisation involved in modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour or exploitative practices.

Due Diligence and Risk Management

As part of our approach to managing risk, we may take proportionate steps to assess suppliers and partners before and during a business relationship. This may include reviewing the nature of the services provided, the location of the supplier, the type of work being carried out and any relevant compliance or reputational concerns.

Where appropriate, we may seek assurances from suppliers and partners that they have suitable policies, controls and working practices in place to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking.

If we identify a concern, we will investigate and take appropriate action. This may include seeking further information, requiring corrective action, suspending work or terminating the relationship.

Training and Awareness

We aim to ensure that relevant employees and representatives understand the importance of ethical conduct, regulatory compliance and fair treatment of individuals.

Staff are expected to raise concerns if they become aware of any behaviour or business relationship that may involve exploitation, unethical conduct or a breach of this statement.

Any employee, supplier, partner or other stakeholder who has concerns about modern slavery, human trafficking or unethical conduct connected to Switcha Limited or its supply chain should report those concerns as soon as possible.
